It's been quite a busy winter for Theault America with several more vehicles sold to happy customers but with the sun now shining in the North it's time to hit the road again.....

Another busy Rolex Kentucky 3 Day Event has come to an end.  It was a thrilling time for the crew at Theault-America, going back to the blue grass state to support ambassador Boyd Martin, as well as many other of our favorite international riders.  Boyd started out in top form on his young horse Trading Aces, laying down a stellar dressage test and moving into XC within shot of a top 10 finish. 

Unfortunately, as this was Oscar's first 4*,  the course proved just a bit too long, so Boyd pulled up with the finish line in site.  Always the consummate horseman, Boyd realized that the risk of injury was not worth going for broke, but Oscar showed amazing aptitude for being a top international competitor.  Check out this video of his form going through the Sunken Road!

What a treat to watch sponsored rider, Silva Martin, firmly dominate the 4th Level classes at Dressage at Devon this past week! Her talented young group of horses will certainly be a competitive force in the future!

Theault-America went on another road trip this weekend to Plantation Field International, held in the beautiful countryside of Unionville, Pa.  Home to our sponsored rider and 2012 Olympic team member, Boyd Martin, Plantation Field is in it's 5th year of hosting the CIC international event, and it was a smashing success!  This year the event was larger than ever, featuring 4 of the 5 US Eventing team members and packed entries in all of the National and International divisions.

 

Theault-America continues to hit the road, and we've got a busy fall schedule to prove it!!  We're happy to support our friends in Unionville, Pennsylvania at the 5th annual Plantation Field International Horse Trials, which features plenty of exciting international competition, as well as fabulous parties and the growing vendor village.  Come check out the Morpheus while taking in the views of area Olympians as they gallop across the famed hills of Chester County!!


If you can't come see us at Plantation Field, the Morpheus will be at any one of these other great East Coast Events!

Marc and Theault-America were excited to make the road trip down to the Catherine Haddad-Staller clinic at Watermark Farm in Oxford, Pa (just 10 minutes from Boyd & Silva Martin's). Haddad competes at the Grand Prix level both nationally and internationally throughout Europe and the United States.

Not missing a beat, Theault-America was on hand to lend our video skills to the USEF's response to Colbert......and it got their attention! Check out the follow up segment (featuring Marc's video) which aired last night.

 Theault-America is on hand at the Festival of Champions and Dressage Selection Trials being held June 8th - 17th at the USEF headquarters in Gladstone NJ.  Marc and Mona were on hand the first half of the event to show off the Morpheus and to document more footage of the competitors in action!

Each year Boyd and Silva Martin travel to Millbrook, NY to conduct a weekend clinic at Fitch's Corner, home to the Area I Championships!  Theault-America was on hand to show off the Morpheus Horse Box to a packed house of avid equestrians.

It was a big weekend at The Rolex Kentucky, 3 Day Event CIC**** Horse Trials, with our sponsored rider, Boyd Martin, impressing the US Olympic selectors with a 3rd place finish aboard Otis Barbotiere and an 8th aboard Remington XXV.   Erin Sylvester and No Boundaries, first time competitors who are featured in our videos, joined the victory gallup with a 13th place finish at their first CIC 4*!

Due to the crowds and beautiful weather, the Theault stand was consistently jammed with curious admirers wanting to know what makes our sleek, compact Morpheus so special.  We truly enjoyed documenting our weekend's experiences through the creative eye of Mar-Antoine Juvin.  Please take a minute to enjoy our featured rider video and the Theault Team at the Rolex Kentucky 3 Day Event!

This week the Theault America team are hitting the road in the direction of Lexington for the Rolex Kentucky 3 Day Event.

The US launched the 2012 Olympic bid this week in New Yorks's Times Square.  Timed to mark 100-days until the opening of the London Games, the event gave Americans a great start on our journey to the United Kingdom and Theault America were there to help with the occasion!

It's winter so we're heading for the sun and all of the action! 

Theault America will be exhibiting throughout the winter season at Florida's Winter Equestrian Festival and Wellington Classic Dressage, West Palm Beach, Florida.   As well as that we'll also be taking the Interstate to come and see you in California!

US International dressage star Catherine Haddad will be appearing at the Saugerties Dressage CDI-W September 15-18 together with Theault America's Morpheus horse truck which was recently featured in her Chronicle of the Horse blog.

Mike Allen, salesman for Theault-America's north eastern distributor Stadium Trucks has the Morpheus at the Vermont Summer Festival in Manchester, VT from July 13 to 17.

He is located in front of the Grand Prix Ring.

Claire Affleck of Claire Affleck Training, Skaneateles Equestrian Center, Auburn, New York put the Theault Morpheus through its paces to attend Corner Haven Farm Horse Show, Trumansburgh, NY. 

Theault will be exhibiting at the 2011 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, Florida in February and March 2011.

The team showjumping at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky saw a strong performance by Theault customer Pénélope Leprevost riding Mylord Cathago HN (pictured) and the rest of the French team - European Champion Kevin Staut (Silvana de Hus); Patrice Delaveau (Katchina Mail) & Olivier Guillon (Lord de Theize) to win silver behind a very strong German side.

Meanwhile Sweden's Peder Fredricson riding H&M Arctic Aurora Borealis helped his team into 6th place while former Word Champion Dermott Lennon riding Hallmark Elite saw the Irish team finish in 12th position.

We wish them the best of luck for the individual competition at the end of the week.

The team dressage at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky saw a record breaking performance by Theault customer Laura Bechtolsheimer riding Mistral Hojris (pictured) to finish second in the individual scoring behind Edward Gal (Netherlands) and the legendary Moorlands Totilas.  

Strong performances from the rest of the team (Maria Eilberg - Two Sox, Fiona Bigwood - Wie Atlantico & Carl Hester - Liebling II) gained team GB the silver medal behind the gold-medal winning Netherlands; the first ever team medal for Great Britain in a dressage World Championships.  Laura went on to win silver in the individual competition breaking the record for the highest score by a British rider in an international Grand Prix Special with a record 81.71% just 3.96% behind gold medallist Edward Gal & Totilas.  Steffen Peters and Ravel gained an excellent result for a the USA finishing in individual bronze position.

Over the last 2-years Laura and Mistral Hojris (aka Alf) have consistently broken records for scoring by a British combination in international competition and produced two superb performances for a well deserved result. 

Belgian Theault customer Jeroen Devroe riding Apollo Vantlet Vuverhof finished in 32nd place in the individual scoring of the team competition to finish top of the Belgium squad and help the team into 9th place.

The team at Theault would like to extend our congratulations to Laura and everyone else involved.

The teams from the UAE and France took the top two medal places in the World Endurance Championships at WEG in Kentucky.

Team UAE with Theault customers the Maktoum family took gold with a time of 23:53:36.  The team, based in Britain's famous horseracing town of Newmarket, consisted of HE Sh Hamdan Mohammed Al Maktoum riding SAS Alexis (3rd individual); HE Sh Majid Mohammed Al Maktoum - Kangoo D'Aurabelle (6th individual) & Sh Rashid Dalmook Al Maktoum - Rukban Dikruhu Mmn (7th individual).

Silver went to France with Theault customers Sarah Chakil - Sakalia (8th individual) and Virginie Atger - Azim du Florival (10th individual).  The third member of the team was Cecile Miletto Mosti - Easy Footnoire (11th individual).

HH Sh Hamdan Mohammed bin Rasid Al Maktoum finished in 2nd place in the individual competition for the UAE.

Again, the team at Theault would like to extend our congratulations to all involved.
